An officers dress sword by Wilkinson's of Pall Mall in leather scabbard and frog "The original owner of this sword was major General G.J. Farmer CB. CMG he was gazetted to the 1st byln regiment of Belfast 1892 then posted to the 2nd Btln Poona he served on the Nile expedition 1898 and was ADC to field marshal lord Grenfell Gvn of Malta. 1914 was AKMG second core. AT Mons he was injured when his horse was startled by a shell burst, for services in war he was created C.M.G and brevet colonel in 1915 and a CB 1918, he was mentioned in dispatches 8 times and died on the 3rd November 1958 aged 87"
